10. The department conducted two Course Work for Research Scholars as per new regulations in the year 2016 and 2017 for 6 months
11. Two Research Scholars are selected by JPSC and appointed as Assistant Professors in Kolhan University, Chaibasa(Laxmi Alda and Nisha Kongari).Laxmi Alda joined University Department of Political Science.
12. The Board of Studies first time approved the new UGC CBCS syllabus of Public Administration in Manoharpur Degree college. The Board of Studies approved the CBCS UGC syllabus in Political Science for UG & PG in 2017 and UGC new syllabus for UG & PG in 2020.
13. NEP 2020 FYUGP implemented in the year 2022-23

2. The University Department of Political Science, Kolhan University,Chaibasa, had Organized a Special Lecture on “Whither Indian Democracy?”, on 12-11-2022.
3. University Department of Political Science, Kolhan University,Chaibasa, had Organized a Special Lecture on “G 20 Presidency:India’s Aspirations,Challenges and Opportunities”  on  11-02-2023.
4. The University Department of Political Science, Kolhan University,Chaibasa, had Organized a Special Lecture on “Gandhi &Hind Swaraj” on 28-11-2021
5. Organized a Two days National Webinar on “ Geo-politics & Epidemics: with special reference to COVID-19”  from 29-05-2020 to 30-05-2020 at the University Department of Political Science, Kolhan University,Chaibasa.
6. Organized a Two days International Webinar on “International Order in the Post COVID-19 World:Great Powers & the Emerging Trends”  from 24-07-2020 to 25-07-2020 at the University Department of Political Science, Kolhan University,Chaibasa.
